This essay discribes the numerous roles of a contemporary English teacher, requirements of new Federal Educational Standards to the aim, methods, contents and tools of teaching young generation as "Digital Natives". The essay refers our students today to “native speakers” of the digital language of computers, video games and the Internet and suggests the ways of engagement with the 21st century skills.
